First the desert, north of Phoenix, guarded by thousands of saguaros, a kind of giant cactus seen all over Arizona.

Further north, at Tuzigoot the ruins of an indian village, overlooking what the locals call a "green paradise."

Finally, Sedona and its scarlet landscapes. The shock of colors is astounding, the panoramas unbelievable. This must be what the "Far West" is all about.
