The hike started under bad conditions, a very dense fog covering the coast.

After a while, the path emerged above the wet layer, and I could take a first look at the top of Montara Mountain.

A lot of mountain bikers seem to use the same road to test their endurance. The climb is long under the sun...

From the top, there would have been a nice view of Pacifica, if only the weather had been a little better.
