1/2 April and May are probably the best months to visit Chimney Rocks, in the western part of Point Reyes.

The path follows the edge of the cliffs.

This is an opportunity to spot a colony of sea lions, a couple of eagles, or a seagull posing on a fence.

Or just the waves of the Pacific breaking against a natural arch.

2/2 The hills are carpeted with goldfields, seaside daisies, two-toned tidytips, cat's ears, and various other types of wildflowers.
